The Utah State Aggies face a huge road test when they visit the USC Trojans Saturday night.
After dropping their opener to rival Utah, Utah State has been dominant in victories over Air Force and Weber State. The Aggies padded the stats in a 70-6 rout of Weber State who was probable more of a practice session in preparation for USC. USU rolled up 587 yards with most coming in the first three quarters while the Wildcats totaled 138 yards with no ability to run or throw while also losing a pair of fumbles. The Aggies had no such issues with Chuckie Keaton dominating the air waves with 249 yards and five touchdowns with ten players posting receptions. Joey DeMartino ran for 105 yards on eight totes with three trips to the end zone as the Aggies ground out 267 yards and averaged 5.6 yards per touch.

USC rebounded nicely from a 10-7 loss to Washington State with a 35-7 pounding of visiting Boston College in week three. The Trojans are probably wondering where this offense was against the Cougars as this unit piled up 521 yards and played mistake free football while holding on to the ball for over 36 minutes. The ground and air were equally friendly with Cody Kessler completing 15-17 for 237 yards and a pair of touchdowns that covered five and 80 yards. USC dominated the front seven of the Eagles to the tune of 257 yards with Tre Madden and Justin Davis combining for 198 yards on 26 carries with a touchdown each. The defensive side of the ball was just as impressive with only 184 yards and 12 first downs with BC unable to sustain drives.
This is one of the biggest games the Aggies will play in because they will get the opportunity to show the nation what they can do. If Keaton and crew can move the ball on the Trojans defense and their own D comes to play, I'll gladly take the the touchdown and hope for a win...
