The Army Black Knights take to the road to face the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at Cotton Bowl Stadium.
Army and their option attack have been slow out of the gate at 1-3 following a 25-11 loss to Wake Forest. The Black Knights are rolling up over 300 yards on the ground and have done a decent enough job of controlling the scoreboard but 18 points per game isn't enough. The loss to the Demon Deacons was closer on paper then on the scorebord with both teams hovering around 360 yards with Army totaling 271 rushing yards and almost five yards per touch. Terry Baggett led the way with 125 yards on 16 carries but the problem for this team is trying to play catch up which is a problem for a team who does not throw the ball often or well.

Louisiana Tech made a name for themselves a year ago but many of those players are gone and their 1-3 record is the proof. The Bulldogs could score with any one in 2013 but have been transformed in to a team that has to control the scoreboard and avoid shoot outs. There was no shoot out at Kansas yet it still didn't turn out well in a 13-10 loss to the Jayhawks who also want to avoid track meets. La Tech led in total yardage 443-396 and amassed 29 first downs but gave the ball away three times and saw several drives simply stall. The Bulldogs ran and threw the ball well but just didn't score with Kenneth Dixon rushing for 129 yards while Ryan Higgins threw for 289 yards as Kansas nailed a 52 yard field goal with no time left to win.
Both teams have moved the ball at times but don't always find the end zone so I'm looking at a close game with not a ton of scoring with the under looking like a possibility...
