The Arkansas State Red Wolves enter week five at 2-2 after some big wins and some one sided losses. Simply A-State has won at home and lost on the road. QB Adam Kennedy has completed 62.9 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and an interception and he has rushed for 115 yards. David Oku has rushed for 4.5 yards per carry and four touchdowns, Michael Gordon is averaging 12.2 yards per carry with three touchdowns, and Fredi Kinighten is averaging 13.2 yards per carry with three touchdowns. Qushan Lee as 32 tackles, Chris Humes has 29 tackles and Ryan Carrethers has 28 tackles and three sacks. Arkansas State will need to improve their road play to have any chance at all here.
Missouri is 5-2-1 against the spread in their last eight games, 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven non-conference games, and 2-7-1 against the spread following a game in which they covered the spread. Arkansas State is 3-0-1 against the spread following a game where they didn’t cover the spread, 4-1-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 7-2-1 against the spread in their last 10 games overall.
This is a big number for the Tigers to be laying but Arkansas State has laid an egg on the road and against bigger teams and they are in trouble here.
