The Air Force Falcons head to MacKay Stadium to take the field with the Nevada Wolf Pack.
Air Force and their option attack are doing okay on the ground but aren't scoring points and that is bad news because the defensive side of the football can't anything and are allowing nearly 41 points. This trend continued in aa 56-23 loss to visiting Wyoming who piled 622 yards in whatever manner they chose. As for the Falcons it was all run and they did it well with 346 yards and over six yard average but the problem was they still didn't get in the end zone enough. Eleven players ran the ball but the issue came down to needing points in a hurry and Jaleel Awini (11-18/89) wasn't able to get the ball down field which is not their offensive specialty.

A week after getting pounded in a 62-7 loss at Florida State the Wolf Pack got their feet back under them and did some pounding of their own in a 31-9 win over visiting Hawaii. With Cody Fajardo out the defense came up big by keeping Hawaii to 376 yards while recovering a pair of fumbles and recording four interceptions. The Wolf Pack totaled 340 yards but benefitted from a few short fields and received a quality performance from Tyler Stewart who completed 14-20 for 202 with three touchdowns and no turnovers including a 57 yarder to Chris Solomon which set up a touchdown. Kendall Brock picked up 69 rushing yards but this unit had trouble against the Warriors front seven.
I don't like either team to be honest but Nevada wins this game. The problem is Fajardo might be out so I'm inclined to take the points and think on this...
