The Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks visit Veterans Memorial Stadium to face the Troy Trojans.
Louisiana-Monroe has saved their season with back to back victories leaving the remaining four games on their schedule to determine if they are Bowl worthy. The Warhawks look to build on their 38-10 rout of Georgia State in which they dominated both sides of the ball with a 533-244 advantage in total yards. The Panthers struggled to move the ball and gave it away four times to ULM who moved the chains in any manner they chose. ULM totaled 224 rushing yards and averaged over six yards per touch with Centarius Donald running for 126 yards on eight totes with a TD. Kolton Browning went 21-30 for 224 yards and four touchdowns with the lone miscue being a fumble return brought back for six by the Panthers.

Troy is trying to return to the glory days where they were the kings of the Sun Belt and this could be the year as they are 3-1 in the conference which is a game behind unbeaten Louisiana-Lafayette. The Trojans continue to rack up points as well as give them up but did a solid job on both sides of the ball in a 32-26 victory over Western Kentucky for win number three in a row. Troy was out gained 532-397 with the Hilltoppers doing most of their damage in the first 30 minutes where the led 20-10. Brandon Burks was the only runner of significance with 52 yards on nine carries which meant leaning on Corey Robinson and the air attack which wasn't a bad option. Robinson completed 20-32 for 306 yards with a touchdown and a pick with ten players recording receptions.
The Trojans appear to be the better team but their tendency to give up points and play things close has me looking at the visitors for right now but I'll firm this up closer to game day...
