UB Stadium and the Buffalo Bulls host the Ohio Bobcats in a battle for first in the MAC East.
It's been a typical season for Ohio with their ability to both score and defend with both sides of the ball coming up bid in a 41-16 rout of rival Miami (Ohio). The Bobcats had little issue moving the chains throught the air or ground in piling up 535 yards and 25 first downs. Beau Blankenship paced the ground attack with 172 yards on 20 totes with Ryan Boykin adding another 52 yards on 52 tries with a touchdown. Tyler Tettleton dominated the Redhawks secondary by completing 22-32 for 306 yards for 306 yards with three scores and no interceptions with Donte Foster (8-122) on the end of all three scoring strikes. The Bobcats D limited the Redhawks to 240 yards with just 85 coming on the ground and kept every gain short.

I'm sure many people are surprised by the success Buffalo has enjoyed this season but they have shown some signs over the past few years of improvement. The Bulls sit atop the MAC East with a 4-0 mark thanks to solid play on both sides of the ball with both trends continuing in 41-21 defeat of Kent State on the road. The Bulls took a 20-7 lead in to the break and kept the pressure on for 60 minutes behind nearly 500 yards of offensewith the ability to run and throw. Brandon Oliver was the face of the rushing attack once again with 185 yards on 31 carries and four touchdowns. Joe Licata completed 20-31 for 285 yards and two TD's versus no interceptions with Alex Neutz and Fred Lee combining for 147 yards on nine receptions. The key was the UB defense held Dri Archer and the the Golden Flashes attack to 365 yards and controlled the big play.
Ohio is and has been a good team so giving them points in a big conference game is not ideal but I think the Bulls in their last home game is the choice and they are pretty good themselves...
