The Kentucky Wildcats and the Missouri Tigers face off on Saturday in Lexington in a SEC college football matchup.
The Kentucky Wildcats figured to be having a rebuilding year this season and they haven’t done anything to go above that expectation. Kentucky is coming off a win against Alabama State that followed five losses, The UK offense is averaging 24 points and 357.6 yards per game and they have turned the ball over six times. Jalen Whitlow has completed 65 percent of his passes for 690 yards with five touchdowns and an interception and he has rushed fir 351 yards and five touchdowns. Jojo Kemp has rushed for 390 yards and two touchdowns and Raymond Sanders has rushed for 370 yards and two touchdowns. Jayvess Blue has 28 receptions for 345 yards and two touchdowns to lead Kentucky while Ryan Timmons has caught 27 passes for 295 yards with two touchdowns. Defensively Kentucky allows 27.2 points and 421 yards with one interception, eight fumble recoveries, and 18 sacks. Avery Williamson has 76 tackles, Alvin Dupree as 45 tackles and five sacks, and Za’Darius Smith has 5.5 sacks. Kentucky fans were hoping for more to cheer about this season.

The Missouri Tigers have been one of the biggest surprises in all of college football this season as they look for win number nine on the season. The Missouri offense is averaging 40.6 points and 500 yards per game and they have turned the ball over nine times. James Franklin was injured and he has missed the last three games but he is listed as questionable for this one but if he can’t go again it will be Maty Mauk who has gone 2-1 as a starter. Henry Josey has rushed for 647 yards and eight touchdowns and Russell Hansbrough has rushed for 510 yards and four touchdowns. Marcus Lucas has 43 catches for 522 yards and two touchdowns, L’Damian Washington has 36 catches and nine touchdowns, and Dorial Green-Beckham has 33 catches and five touchdowns. The Missouri defense has allowed 20.6 points and 388.8 yards per game with 17 interceptions, seven fumble recoveries, and 27 sacks. Andrew Wilson has 64 tackles, Michael Sam has 10 sacks, and E.J. Gaines has four interceptions. Missouri is looking to lock down a spot in the SEC Title Game.
Kentucky is 3-9 against the spread in their last 12 SEC games, 0-6 against the spread following a win, and 2-11 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread. Missouri is 7-1-1 against the spread in their last nine games overall, 5-1-1 against the spread following a win, and 4-1 against the spread in their last five SEC games.
