The Florida State Seminoles remained perfect this season by beating Wake Forest on the road 59-3 last weekend. The Seminoles are 9-0 on the year and are dominating the competition in the ACC. The Seminoles only produced 296 yards on offense against Wake Forest. QB Winston passed for 159 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception, while WR Greene caught 5 balls for 47 yards. Winston has thrown for 2,661 yards and 26 touchdowns this season. RB Freeman has rushed for a team-high 650 yards and 9 touchdowns, while Greene has a team-high 820 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns. The Seminoles rank 2nd in points scored this season, averaging 52 points per game. The Seminoles held Wake Forest to 166 total yards and forced 7 turnovers, turning those turnovers into five touchdowns and a field goal. Florida State is giving up only 12 points per game, which ranks 4th in the country. The Seminoles have won their home games this year by an average of 45 points.
Syracuse does not stand a chance in this game despite their good play in the past couple games. The Orange were blown out at Georgia Tech and this game sets up to be a blow out as well. Florida State will be up at least 28 points by halftime, so I would take the first half line instead of laying almost 40 points for the game. There is no reason to stop backing the Seminoles now; they will roll all over the Orange in this one.
