The Idaho Vandals travel to Florida State to play the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday.
Florida State remained a perfect 10-0 after beating Syracuse 59-3 at home last weekend. The Seminoles are firing on all cylinders right now and are in position to play the National Championship if they win their final three games. The Seminoles are led by a stout defense, a great rushing attack, and freshman sensation, QB Jameis Winston. Winston has thrown for 2,938 with 28 and touchdowns and only 7 interceptions this year. Winston has also completed 70.9% of his passes for Florida State. Winston’s favorite target is junior WR Rashad Greene, who has hauled in 54 balls for 860 yards and 9 touchdowns this year. Florida State’s junior RB Devonta Freeman is the top running back for the Seminoles, rushing for 679 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. Defensively, the Seminoles rank 3rd in the country in points allowed, giving up only 11.1 points per game. The defense has only allowed 20 points in the last three games combined and has only allowed over 17 points once this season. Florida State will have it easy this week when they host Idaho.

The Idaho Vandals fell to 1-9 on the season after losing to Old Dominion 59-38 two weeks ago. The only positive thing going for the Vandals is that they had two weeks to prepare for Florida State, but that won’t help them at all. Idaho has the 114th ranked offense, scoring 18.8 points per game, and the 125th ranked defense, allowing over 45 points per game. QB Chalich has thrown for 1,224 yards and 5 touchdowns this year. WR Epps has a team-high 811 yards on 66 catches with 4 touchdowns. RB Baker leads the team in rushing with 543 yards and 6 touchdowns this season. Idaho was blown out at Washington State by 42 earlier in the year, and by 45 points at Ole Miss a few weeks ago. Idaho will be lucky to keep this game within 50 by the end of the day.
Florida State is rolling right now and it doesn’t seem like anyone is going to slow them down. Idaho may be on of the worst teams in college football and this game sets up to be a disaster for the Vandals. The line in this game is set at a huge number, but I’m going to take Florida State to win by 60. The Seminoles will be up by at least 40 by halftime.
