The Ole Miss Rebels and the Missouri Tigers face off on Saturday in a huge college football battle in the SEC.
The Ole Miss Rebels have won four games in a row and they are playing their best football of the season. The Ole Miss offense is averaging 34.5 points per game and 498 yards. Bo Wallace has completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 17 touchdowns and five interceptions. Jeff Scott is averaging 7.6 yards per carry with two touchdowns and Jaylen Walton is averaging 5.1 yards per carry with six touchdowns. LaVonte Treadwell has 53 receptions and five touchdowns and Donte Moncrief has 44 catches and five touchdowns. Defensively Ole Miss is allowing 25 points and 373.7 yards per game but they have just 14 sacks. S Bryant has 62 tackles, Cody Prewitt has 54 tackles and four interceptions, and Tony Conner and Trae Elston have 49 tackles each. Ole Miss closes their season with the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State on Thanksgiving night.

The Missouri Tigers control their own destiny in the SEC East and the formula is simple: win out and they go to the SEC Championship Game. Mizzou has just one loss on the season, at home to South Carolina, and they look to make that their only stumble of the year. The Missouri offense is averaging 41.3 points and 492.6 yards per game. James Franklin is healthy again at QB but the Tigers may opt to stay with Maty Mauk whom they have had a lot of success with in recent weeks. Henry Josey has been outstanding rushing for 760 yards and 10 touchdowns and Russell Hansbrough has rushed for 544 yards and four touchdowns. Marcus Lucas has 46 receptions, Dorial Green-Beckham has 40 receptions and nine touchdowns, and L’Damian Washington has 36 catches and nine touchdowns. The Missouri defense has allowed 20.2 points and 386.8 yards per game with 17 interceptions and 34 sacks. Andrew Wilson has 74 tackles, Braylon Webb has 67 tackles, and Michael Sam has 16 tackles for a loss. Missouri somehow still seems to be flying under the radar and getting little respect along the way.
Ole Miss is 4-1 against the spread in their last five home games, 4-1 against the spread in their last five games, and 5-1 against the spread after allowing less than 100 rushing yards their previous game. Missouri is 4-0 against the spread in their last four road games, 5-1 against the spread in their last six SEC games, and 4-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record.
This should be a good one but I see Missouri just being the better overall team so while it is close the Tigers should get the cover here.
