The Arizona State Sun Devils and the Stanford Cardinal face off on Saturday in the Pac-12 Championship game.
The Arizona State Sun Devils have turned things around and are just a win away from playing the Rose Bowl. ASU has bought into Todd Graham’s system and the results so far show a 10-2 record and a spot in the game. Taylor Kelly has completed 62.6 percent of his passes with 27 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions and he has rushed for 437 yards and eight touchdowns. Marion Grice leads the Sun Devils ground attack with 996 yards and 14 touchdowns and he has 50 receptions and six receiving touchdowns. Jaelen Strong has 69 receptions and seven touchdowns and D.J. Foster has 54 catches and three touchdowns. Chris Young leads the Arizona State defense with 95 tackles and 6.5 sacks, Alden Darby has 60 tackles, and Davon Coleman and Carl Bradford have 7.5 sacks each. Offensively Arizona State is averaging 43.2 points and 473.2 yards per game while defensively they are allowing 24.8 points and their opponents average 351 yards per game. ASU Has taken a huge jump forward this year.

The Stanford Cardinal had a few stumbles on the road this season but they worked their way past them and find themselves in the Pac-12 Championship. Stanford lost at Utah and USC but their win over Oregon was the difference maker and they already beat ASU this season as well. Kevin Hogan has completed 61 percent of his passes for 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions and he has two rushing touchdowns as well. Tyler Gaffney has rushed for 1,485 yards keying the Stanford offense. Ty Montgomery has 53 receptions and nine touchdowns and Devon Cajuste has 25 receptions and five touchdowns. Shayne Skov has 91 tackles and 4.5 sacks to lead the Cardinal, A.J. Tarpley has 80 tackles, and Trent Murphy has 13 sacks. Offensively Stanford averages 32.8 points and 404.4 yards per game while defensively they allow 19 points and 341.3 yards per game. Stanford as won their last two games and five of their last six.
Arizona State is 6-2 against the spread in their last eight Pac-12 games, 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games overall, and 2-6 against the spread in their last eight December games. Stanford is 19-6-1 against the spread in their last 26 road games, 6-2 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread, and 35-17-1 against the spread in their last 53 Pac-12 games. Stanford are 1-3-1 against the spread against Arizona State.
