The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have upset on their mind when they visit the Oklahoma Sooners.
Louisiana Tech Bulldogs liked to put the ball in the air but struggled when they did so in 2013 with Ryan Higgins who tended to make bad decisions and when he wasn't throwing in to trouble he was getting sacked. With just two of the top eight targets back La Tech needs somebody to step up although the ball gets spread around. The Bulldogs rushing attack has potential behind the tandem of Kenneth Dixon and Tevin King (if he has recovered from a dislocated ankle) if the O-Line can fill the void of three lost starters. The defensive line also has holes to fill but the back seven is experienced.

The Oklahoma Sooners enter 2014 with the usual expectations meaning Big 12 title at the very least. Sooners quarterback Trevor Knight lost the starting job a few times and is getting another crack at it with starter/backup Blake Bell moving to tight end. Knight is also a solid runner which will give Keith Ford and Alex Ross some help on the ground where OU lost their top three running backs. The passing attack could really use some production with Sterling Shepard the only known quantity among Oklahoma's receiving corps that returns just two of eleven. OU gets four players back with starting experience on the offensive line and the defense is loaded but it was loaded in 2013 and gave up some big yardage on the ground although solid versus the pass.
I don't think there is any question which team wins this but by how much? Huge spread which is no surprise and I can see Oklahoma scoring 35 in a quarter so for me the over looks like a logical play...
