The Georgia State Panthers collide with the option attack of the Air Force Falcons at the Georgia Dome.
The Air Force Falcons never got their option going at Wyoming in week two and the result was a 13-10 defeat that evened their record at 1-1. For those that like defense this was the game to watch with Air Force leading 377-333 in yardage but losing apair of fumbles. The defense did their job but the offense and suddenly pass heavy attack didn't find the endzone. AFA saw Kale Pearson complete 17-32 for 226 yards with Jalen Robinette snagging five balls for 96 yards. Jacobi Owens was the highlight of the Falcons ground game with 76 yards on 18 carries and a TD but the Cowboys held Air Force to under three yards per carry.

The Georgia State Panthers had a 2-0 start within their grasp in week two versus New Mexico State but the Aggies dashed those hopes with a touchdown with 15 seconds remaining to walk away with a 34-31 victory. GSU totaled 456 yards but were mistake prone with four turnovers. Krysten Hammon paced the Panthers on the ground with 123 yards and a pair of trips to the endzone while Nick Arbuckle threw for 294 yards including a 68 yard scoring strike to Donovan Harden to open the scoring. Unfortunately Arbuckle tossed a pair of interceptions including a pick six to ruin an otherwise solid performance under center.
This game will likely hinge on whether the Georgia State defense can control the Falcons option which I think is asking a lot. I don't think the Panthers match up well here so I'll back the Air Force...
