The Wyoming Cowboys welcome the Florida Atlantic Owls to War Memorial Stadium in week four.
After playing heavyweights Nebraska and Alabama to kick off 2014 the Florida Atlantic Owls found the going much easier in a 50-21 rout of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. This was one sided with FAU dominating total yardage 518-363 behind quarterback Jaquez Johnson's air assault. Johnson completed 15-20 for 318 yards with three touchdowns and zero picks. Jay Warren and Lucky Whitehead combined for 111 yards on just 17 carries to give the Owls some punch on the ground. The FAU defense forced three turnovers, recorded a safety and received a 23 yard pick six from D'Joun Smith.

The Wyoming Cowboys had the unenviable task of facing the potent offense of the Oregon Ducks on the road in week two and came away with a 48-14 defeat as a 43 point dog. The Ducks outgained the visitors 556-439 although the outmanned Cowboys fought the good fight. In the end the Ducks could run and throw much better then the Cowboys. Shaun Wick did give Wyoming a running threat with 119 yards on 16 carries with Colby Kirkegaard throwing for 284 yards with a pair of touchdowns and two interceptions. DJ May was tops among the Wyoming recieving corps with 101 yards on four catches including a 12 yard TD reception.
