The Florida Atlantic Owls play host to the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners in week five action Saturday.
The Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners dropped their second straight by a 43-13 count at Oklahoma State to fall to 1-2. The Roadrunners were 12 point underdogs but were never a factor with the Cowboys holding a 477-206 yardage edge with total control of the airways. UTSA needed a ground game to milk the clock but failed to do so with less then 75 yards and a two yard average. Blake Bogenschultz tried to boost the Roadrunners through the air but his 82 yards and a pick six didn't get the job done and starter Tucker Carter's 7-15 effort for 51 yards was even less effective.

The Florida Atlantic Owls gave Wyoming everything they could handle in a 20-19 loss in week four. The Owls shook off the long trip and altitude before an 18 yard field goal with 15 seconds remaining did them in. Both defenses set the tone with Fau held to less then 300 yards while losing three fumbles while the Cowboys totaled 334 yards and a lost fumble. Jacquez Johnson struggled in the air going 14-28 for 99 yards with another 44 yards coming on the ground but Florida Atlantic's biggest contributor was Jay Warren's 108 rushing yards and that wasn't enough.
Based on how each team has fared against the bigger names in the early going I give a slight nod to the Roadrunners and if the Owls get more points I might think differently...
