The Tulsa Golden Hurricane dropped a heartbreaking three overtime, 37-34 decision to visiting Texas State on Saturday. Tulsa came back from a 17-3 deficit to tie the score 17-17 on Dane Evans TD run with ten seconds left in regulation. Tulsa held a slight 434-409 edge in yardage with both teams exhibiting some passing and running ability. The Golden Hurricane and Dane Evans were okay in the air on 23-40 for 234 yards with a pair of touchdowns and an interception with Keyarris Garrett snagging eight balls for 117 yards. Zack Langer supplied Tulsa with 82 rushing yards on 20 totes and a TD with James Flanders totaling 112 yards on 21 touches.

The Colorado State Rams picked up a 24-21 win at Boston College to up their record to 3-1. The Rams rallied from a 14-0 deicit to win it on Garrett Grayson's 12 yard scoring toss to Charles Lovett with just over a minute remaining. Both squads finished with over 400 yards with the Rams passing owning an edge over the Eagles running. Grayson completed 27-41 for 268 yards with a pair of touchdowns and two interceptions with Rashard Higgins pacing the recievers with nine catches for 98 yards and a score. Dee Hart gave CSU a threat on the ground with 117 yards on only ten carries to give Colorado state some semblance of balance.
I am of the thinking that Colorado State is flying under the radar a bit with their only loss coming on the blue turf of Boise State. That doesn't mean I like laying the chalk but they look like the choice...
