The South Carolina State Bulldogs and North Carolina A&T Aggies will meet Saturday at the Georgia Dome.
The South Carolina State Bulldogs have won back-to-back games and have been getting the job done on the defensive end. In South Carolina State’s three wins this season, they’ve allowed a combined 17 points, which is a drastic difference from their 103 points allowed in their two losses. The South Carolina State Bulldogs are allowing 24 points per game, 391.6 yards, and have produced 16 sacks. Justin Hughes leads South Carolina State with 41 tackles and Javon Hargrave has nine tackles for loss. Offensively, South Carolina State relies heavily on a running back duo made up of Jalen Simmons and Dondre Lewis-Freeman, two guys who have combined for more than 600 yards and six touchdowns. A quarterback combination of TeDarrius Wiley and Adri Kollock Jr. is completing just 58.7 percent of their passes for one touchdown and three interceptions. South Carolina State needs to play solid defense to have any shot of winning games.

The North Carolina A&T Aggies are off to a fast 4-1 start and hope it can continue with a big win here. North Carolina A&T is averaging 5.7 yards per carry and has a playmaker in wide receiver Desmond Lawrence, who is averaging more than 11 yards per catch. Landis Shoffner leads North Carolina A&T with 36 tackles and Marquis Ragland has five tackles for loss.
We've seen the South Carolina State Bulldogs get their behind handed to them when they're not able to slow down an offense. North Carolina A&T has one of the better offenses South Carolina State will face all season. I'll gladly lay the field goal here.
