The Arizona Wildcats and the USC Trojans face off on Saturday Night at Arizona Stadium in a Week 7 pac-12 college football battle.
The Arizona Wildcats have gotten it done every which way but the bottom line is the same, they are unbeaten so far this season. Arizona is coming off of their biggest win of the year knocking off Oregon on the road. The Arizona offense is averaging 39.8 points per game with QB Anu Solomon completing 63.6 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions. Nick Wilson is averaging 6.4 yards per carry with sox touchdowns to lead the Arizona ground attack and Cayleb Jones leads the receivers with 32 catches and six touchdowns. The Arizona defense allows 26.6 points per game with three interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and 14 sacks. Scooby Wright is having a big year with 58 tackles and five sacks, Jared Tevis as 45 tackles, and Derrick Turiturri has three sacks. With a win here it will be time to think about Arizona as a contender for the Pac-12 Championship game.

The USC Trojans are coming off of a horrible loss where they allowed an Arizona State receiver to get open on the games’ final play to complete a Hail Mary that sent them home losers. What made the Hail Mary completion worse was it wasn’t a ball that bounced around; it was just poor lazy coverage. The USC offense is averaging 33 points as QB Cody Kessler has completed 69.5 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and no interceptions. Javorius Allen leads the Trojans ground attack with a 5.3 yards per carry average and four touchdowns with 19 receptions while Nelson Agholor has 35 catches and three touchdowns to lead the USC receivers. The Southern Cal defense allows a stingy 21.6 points per game with seven interceptions, eight sacks, and two fumble recoveries. Hayed Pullard has 35 tackles, Leonard Williams has 30 tackles and two sacks, and Gerald Bowman has 34 tackles. We can blame USC’s two losses on nothing else but poor coaching.
Arizona is 2-5 against the spread in their last seven Pac-12 games, 4-10 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 1-6 against the spread following a win. USC is 5-0 against the spread following a loss, 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 Pac-12 games, and 3-12 against the spread in their last 15 road games. The underdog has covered the point spread in eight of the last nine meetings of these two.
The total in this one is set sky high making the under and easy choice. My stronger pick is on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
