The Western Michigan Broncos travel to Scheumann Stadium to take the field with the Ball State Cardinals.
The Western Michigan Broncos fell to Toledo 20-19 in overtime on a missed extra point. Both teams finished with around 450 yards with the Broncos benefiting from three turnovers but failing because the Rockets were balanced. WMU were one dimensional with less 70 rushing yards although having to lean on the passing of Zach Terrell was not a bad thing. Terrell seldom missed a receiver as he connected on 30-37 throws for 370 yards and a 20 yard touchdown strike to Darius Phillips in overtime. The duo of Phillips and Corey Davis led the receiving corps with 17 receptions for 245 yards.
