The Tulsa Golden Hurrricane visit the City of Brotherly Love to take the field with the Temple Owls.
The Temple Owls have had an extra week to relax and enjoy their 36-10 rout of Connecticut on the road that gave the team back to back wins and upped their record to 3-1. The defense dominated the Huskies at every turn with 307 yards allowed with Tavon Young's 93 yard pick six and Praise Martin-Oguike's eleven yard fumble return for six while also recording a safety. The Owls offense didn't need to do much and didn't with 272 yards with PJ Walker doing all of the damage through the air on 20-29 for 231 yards with a 42 yard touchdown to Jalen Fitzpatrick.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane fell behind Colorado State early and never got a chance to catch their breath in a 42-17 defeat Saturday. The balance Rams mustered 532 yards split between the run and pass while Tulsa leaned mostly on their attack. Zack Langer gave the Golden Hurricane 72 yards on the ground but the scoreboard dictated the offense move the ball and score quickly. That meant going with the passing of Dane Evans who connected on 16-29 throws for 222 yards with a 62 yard touchdown to Keevan Lucas and a pair of interceptions. The bottom line was Colorado State had too much firepower on the offensive side of the ball.
My thoughts are Temple is good and Tulsa is not what they once were. The line will keep rising and I have lost all interest in this one. Bet Temple now if you like them or wait and get more points with the Golden Hurricane but I will likely pass...
