The Troy Trojans come in off a bye week following a 22-20 loss to Louisiana-Monroe. The Trojans are hoping to regroup and get their first win with the loss to the Warhawks dropping their record to 0-5. The Troy defense kept the scoreboard tight with with 357 yards allowed with their own O totaling 351 yards. Neither team ran the ball with any success so this came down to winning in the air. Troy received 270 yards and three touchdowns from Brandon Silvers who connected on 23-34 throws and did not turn the ball over. Although the defense played one of their better games ULM did hit on a 64 yard touchdown pass as this unit is vulnerable to the big play.
I think Troy could roll New Mexico State if they get things going but I think the Aggies getting more then a touchdown seems like too much...
