The Hawaii Warriors finally enjoyed plenty of success offensively and the result was a 38-28 victory at Aloha Stadium against Wyoming. The Warriors racked up 513 yards with a rare strong performance in the air for plenty of balance to offset the Cowboys 322 yards. UH received 173 passing yards from Ikaika Woolsey with 40 yard and 53 yard TD's to Marcus Kemp and Quinton Pedroza respectively while Taylor Graham threw for 108 yards with a 16 yard TD strike to Pedroza. The Cowboys held Steven Lakalaka to 76 yards on the ground on 22 carries but Diocemy Saint Juste broke free for 135 yards and a TD on 17 touches. The defense overcame three fumbles with one ending up in their own endzone in one of their better efforts of 2014.

The San Diego State Aztecs are trying to get themselves back in the postseason conversation and took a step in that direction with a 24-14 victory over Mountain West foe New Mexico in week seven to even their record at 3-3. The score was closer then the numbers say with the Aztecs holding a sizeable 470-263 advantage in total yards with four turnovers being the only thing that prevented more scoring. With quarterback Quinn Kaehler nursing a shoulder injury and Nick Bawden struggling the offense turned to the rushing attack with convincing results. Donnel Pumphrey rumbled to 246 yards with 49 yard and 93 yard scoring jaunts while Chase Price totaled 141 yards with a 27 yard scoring run. It was a one dimensional attack but with the Lobos unable to move the chains it was more then enough.
Hawaii is 1-6 ATS in the last seven following a SU win while the over is 7-1 in their last eight conference games. The under has hit in the Aztecs last six games overall and they are 2-0 ATS the last two seasons in this match up.
The line might be a little unsettled based on the health of Kaehler so that is something to look at. Hawaii has yet to settle on a quarterback so my guess is we see alternating signal callers. The Warriors are really tough to figure out offensively so I'm giving San Diego State the nod for now...
