The Troy Trojans are one of the worst teams in all of college football and are looking for their first road win since October 26th of last season. The main issue for Troy is on the defensive side of the ball, as the Trojans are allowing 39 points, 460.9 yards, and they’ve forced 10 turnovers and 12 sacks. The Troy Trojans have allowed 24 or more points in 17 of their last 18 games. Montres Kitchens leads Troy with 56 tackles and Tyler Roberts has eight tackles for loss. Offensively, Brandon Silvers is completing 66.8 percent of his passes for five touchdowns and three interceptions, and he’s rushed for four scores. Defensively, the Georgia Southern Eagles are allowing 22.3 points, 407.3 yards, and they’ve forced 16 turnovers and 15 sacks. Edwin Jackson leads Georgia Southern with 65 tackles and Antwione Williams has six tackles for loss.
The Trojans are 4-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 conference games. The Eagles are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 conference games and 11-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall.
Although Georgia Southern has been a covering machine all season, I can’t lay such a huge number here. I will however suggest the over considering the over has hit in 21 of Troy’s last 27 games and five of Georgia Southern's last seven games. Georgia Southern should run all over Troy and get us close to this total pretty much by themselves.
