The Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida Gators face off on Saturday in Jacksonville for The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.
The Georgia Bulldogs have just one loss for the season and have he inside track to winning the SEC East. The Georgia offense has been outstanding averaging 43.4 points and 437.1 yards despite playing most of the year without their best player, Todd Gurley. QB Hutson Mason has completed 69.2 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions. Nick Chubb has taken over the run game averaging 5.7 yards per carry and scoring five touchdowns and Michael Bennett has 22 catches for four touchdowns and Chris Conley has 19 catches and three touchdowns. The Georgia defense allows 20 points and 320.6 yards per game with 10 interceptions and 18 sacks. Amarlo Herrera has 57 tackles and three sacks, Leonard Floyd has five sacks, and Ramik Wilson has 55 tackles. Georgia’s only loss this season came at South Carolina.

The Florida Gators enter this game at 3-3 but it has been a tumultuous year in Gainesville and it appears head Coach Will Muschamp is on his way out. Florida has lost three of their last four games but a win against the Dawgs could salvage the Gators season. The Florida offense is averaging 28.7 points and 368 yards per game led primarily by Jeff Driskel who has six touchdown passes and 10 interceptions though hopes are Treon Harris will emerge as a star. Matt Jones leads the UF ground attack averaging 4.8 yards per carry and Demarcus Robinson is the leading receiver with 34 catches. The expectations for the Florida defense were high but they have been hung out to fry by the inept offense and they allow 25.5 points and 317.3 yards per game. Antonio Morrison has 52 tackles, Alex McCallister has 4.0 sacks, and Keanu Neal has 33 tackles and three interceptions. The expectation is simply a lot higher for Florida.
Georgia is 3-8-1 against the spread in their last 12 SEC games, 3-9-1 against the spread following a win, and 0-4 against the spread following a bye week. Florida is 8-2 against the spread following a bye week, 4-12 against the spread following a loss, and 1-4 against the spread in their last five games. The home team has covered the spread in four of the last five meetings of these two.
The total is down to 51 and I like for this one to go over that number. I also have a strong play on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
