The Ohio Bobcats and the Buffalo Bulls take the field at Peden Stadium in MAC action Friday night.
The Buffalo Bulls hope to get the ship pointed in the right direction when they travel to Ohio in week eleven. Buffalo lost a lot of talent from a season ago and it has mainly shown up on the defensive side of the ball. The defense was fine but the offense stalled in a 20-14 loss to Central Michigan heading in to their bye week. The Chippewas led the yardage battle 341-271 with the Bulls having to ability to run the ball. Joe Licata and the passing attack is generally how UB moves the chains but it wasn't enough versus the Chips with 233 yards with six yard and 28 yard touchdowns to to Malcolm Robinson and Ron Willoughby while tossing a pair of interceptions which negated a decent day and nullified the success Buffalo had putting the ball in the air.

The rebuilding Ohio Bobcats look to get back in the win column when the Buffalo Bulls visit on Saturday. The Bobcats went in to their bye on a 42-21 rout at Western Michigan as neither side of the ball stood out. The Broncos offense piled up 530 yards with some balance while the Bobcats totaled 372 yards virtually zero threat on the ground. Daz'mond Patterson paced the Bobcats on the ground with 56 yards on 12 carries with a three yard scoring run which meant Derrius Vick and the receiving corps were the centerpiece of the offense. Vick completed 18-31 for 246 yards with a 66 yard touchdown strike to Chase Cochran while also tossing an interception. Cochran finished with 110 yards on four catches as the offense continues to search for a go to guy as the rebuilding process continues.
The over is 4-0 in Bulls last 4 games after accumulating less than 275 total yards in their previous game and is 4-0 in Bulls last 4 games after accumulating less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game while the Bulls are 8-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. For Ohio the Bobcats are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game while the Bobcats are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games in November with the under going 5-1 in Bobcats last 6 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. Head to head the over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in Ohio and is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings with the underdog going 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings. I think this boils down to whether Ohio has 'rebuilt' enough to handle Licata and the Bulls passing...
