The Auburn Tigers and the Texas A&M Aggies face off on Saturday in a SEC college football Week 10 matchup.
The Auburn Tigers appear to control their own destiny and if they win out they will be in the college football playoff. The Texas A&M Aggies are coming off of an out of conference win over UL-Monroe that ended a three-game losing streak. Texas A&M started the season unbeaten but their youth an experience caught up with them in SEC play. Kyle Allen starts at QB again this week for the suspended Kenny Hill and Allen has completed 54.5 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and three interceptions. Tra Carson leads the Aggies rushing attack with 326 yards and five touchdowns and Trey Williams has 313 yards and five touchdowns as they split carries. Texas A&M has a slew of receivers led by Malcome Kennedy who has 38 catches and two touchdowns, Ricky Seals-Jones with 37 catches and three touchdowns, and Speedy Noil has 36 catches and four touchdowns. The Aggies defense is allowing 25.9 points and 414.2 yards and they have forced just seven turnovers. Deshazor Everett has 54 tackles, Howard Mathews has 52 tackles, and Justin bass has 50 tackles. A win here would give Texas A&M their confidence back in hopes of a strong finish.
Auburn is 11-2 against the spread in their last 13 SEC games, 11-3 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 16-5 against the spread in their last 21 games. Texas A&M is 2-6 against the spread in their last eight road games, 0-5 against the spread in their last five games, and 8-22 against the spread against a team with a winning record.
The points here are enticing because there are so many but this one has the potential to get ugly fast and I look for Auburn to win and cover.
