The Washington State Cougars have lost four games in a row but more devastating than that is that they lost QB Connor Halliday for the season with a broken ankle. It has been a disappointing season for Wazzu who with two wins thus far won’t be going to a bowl game. The Washington State offense is averaging 33.2 points and 525.6 yards per game will look for answers fro QB Luke Falk who has completed 67.8percent of his passes with three touchdowns and an interception. Jamal Morrow has rushed for 263 yards to lead the Cougars and Vince Mayle is the Cougars leading receiver with 80 receptions and eight touchdowns. The Washington State defense allows 38.7 points and 453.8 yards creating just seven turnovers. Daquawn Brown has 64 tackles, Darryl Monroe has 62 tackles, and Jeremiah Allison has 57 tackles. Washington State will look to rally for their final games this season to have something to build on for next year.
Oregon State is 11-5 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the spread, 1-4 against the spread in their last five Pac-12 games, and 13-3 against the spread following a double-digit home loss. Washington State is 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 road games, 2-5 against the spread following a loss, and 0-4 against the spread in their last four games. Washington State is 3-11 against the spread in their last 14 meetings with Oregon State.
It is just tough to take the Cougars these days and while I don’t love this one it is a lean to Oregon State.
