The Georgia Southern Eagles travel to Bobcats Stadium to take the field with the Texas State Bobcats.
The Georgia Southern Eagles hope to stay on a roll when they visit the dangerous offense of Texas State. The Eagles have won six in a row following a 42-10 rout of visiting Troy in week ten action. This wasn't competitive once the Eagles option got going because the poinst started to flow and the Trojans were unable to keep up. GSU racked up 421 rushing yards and over 6 1/2 yards per touch which led to nearly 39 minutes of possession. The Trojans countered with 154 total yards and tried to milk the clock with their own rushing attack but it wasn't enough to keep the GSU option on the sideline. Quarterback Kevin Ellison threw for 35 yards but ran for 99 yards and three scores while Favian Upshaw added 96 yards and another score with Matt Breida and LA Ramsby combining for 127 yards.

The Texas State Bobcats offense hasn't been racking up the points as much as they have early in the season and scoring against visiting Georgia Southern is the goal in week eleven. The Bobcats did some scoring in a 37-29 victory over New Mexico State for back to back wins and victories in four of five. If there is one thing the Bobcats can do it's score points and that's what they did with a 430 yard performance behind strong work on the ground. Tyler Jones connected on 17-30 for 143 yards with a 23 yard scoring strike to Lawrence White. Jones paced the rushing attack with 82 yards on nine totes with Robert Lowe and Terrence Franks combining for 129 yards and three touchdowns while Franks returned a blocked punt ten yards for six more. The issue for the Bobcats was NMSU totaled over 600 yards but made enough mistakes to lose.
The Eagles are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a SU win of more than 20 points while the over is 4-0 in Eagles last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. For Texas State the over is 6-1-1 in Bobcats last 8 games following a ATS win and is 5-1 in Bobcats last 6 games in November with the Bobcats going 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games. I am never a fan of laying road chalk especially double figures but I think the Georgia Southern option is just a handful right now...
