The Utah State Aggies look for a season ending victory over the Boise State Broncos in Mountain West action.
The Utah State Aggies might be the most impressive team in the Mountain West as they have had numerous injuries at quarterback and continue to win. The Aggies were at it again in week 13 with a 41-7 rout of visiting San Jose State with their defense and running doing most of the damage. The Spartans were held to 252 yards and 14 first downs while they rode their ground game to 424 yards with a short passing attack mixed in. Quarterback Kent Myers completed 15-22 for 108 yards and carried the ball four times for 92 yards and three touchdowns. JoJo Natson did the heavy lifting on the ground with seven carries for another 124 yards including a 56 yard scoring jaunt.

I'm sure the Boise State Broncos have heard the predictions of their demise throughout 2014 but at the end of the day they head in to the final game of the regular season in a three way tie for first in the Mountain West. The Broncos have done plenty of scoring in 2014 and did so once again ina week 13 63-14 rout at Wyoming for win number six in a row. This was over quickly with the Broncos leading 28-7 at the half and continuing to press the issue until the final gun. The Cowboys were limited to 227 yards and gave the ball away three times including a pick six with the Broncos also scoring on a punt return. The Broncos racked up 558 yards with both running and passing ability with Grant Hedrick throwing for 246 yards and three touchdowns. Jay Ajayi led the run with 110 yards and a pair of TD's with Jeremy McNichols and Shane Williams-Rhodes combining for 96 yards and a TD each.
The under is 4-0 in Aggies last 4 games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game and is 7-1 in Aggies last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record while going 6-1 in Aggies last 7 vs. a team with a winning record. For Boise State the Broncos are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a SU win of more than 20 points and the over is 5-0 in Broncos last 5 games following a S.U. win while the Broncos are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game. Head to head the road team is 5-0-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings and the over is 3-0-1 in the last 4 meetings in Boise State while going 3-0-1 in the last 4 meetings. Not much for me to say here but I have to take the points no matter who is under center for the Aggies...
