The Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium and the Memphis Tigers square off with the Connecticut Huskies.
It's been a disappointing season for the Connecticut Huskies who stand at 2-8 with two games to play. The Huskies have struggled to put points on the board and their defense has not been able to win on their lonesome. Neither side of the ball fared well in a 41-0 loss to visiting Cincinnati in week 13. The Bearcats totaled 425 yards and led 27-0 heading in to the locker room. The Huskies simply didn't move the chains with 129 yards and ten first downs while also turning the ball over three times. UConn never established the run with less then 50 yards and less then two yards per carry. The passing attack was ultra short with Tim Boyle completing 13-21 for 70 yards which wasn't going to get the job done.

The Memphis Tigers go in to the last game of the regular season needing a win to guarantee themselves a share of the AAC title and put the finishing touch on their best season in forever. The surging Tigers recorded a 31-20 victory over visiting South Florida to extend their hot streak to five games. The Bulls did have some success moving the ball with nearly 400 yards in a pass heavy attack while the Tigers posted 470 yards with equal ability to run or put the ball in the air. Brandon Hayes ran for 189 yards on 21 touches with a pair of trips to the endzone while Paxton Lynch completed 18-23 for 232 yards with eleven yard and 42 yard scoring tosses to Brandon Hayes and Mose Frazier respectably.
The under is 5-0 in Huskies last 5 games following a double-digit loss at home while the Huskies are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games on fieldturf and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a double-digit loss at home. For Memphis the Tigers are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game while the over is 6-1 in Tigers last 7 vs. a team with a losing record and is 5-1 in Tigers last 6 home games. This is a huge spread and with Memphis needing a win for the conference race I lean their way but I don't know about laying the chalk...
