Brewer has two touchdowns and two picks in his last two games, and Virginia Tech has 19 passing plays of 25 or more yards. Isaiah Ford and Bucky Hodges have combined for more than 1,100 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns while Cam Phillips has eight receptions in his last two games. The Bearcats are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games and 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Hokies are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games in December and 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 neutral site games. The underdog is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

While Frank Beamer has been brutal in bowl games, losing five of his last eight, Virginia Tech's physicality makes the difference in this game. Cincy hasn't seen the style of defense this season that it's going to face in this matchup, and that's why I'm taking the Hokies. It may not be pretty, but VT will find a way to win.
