The Louisville Cardinals and Georgia Bulldogs take the field at Bank of America Stadium for the Belk Bowl.
The Georgia Bulldogs head to the Belk Bowl with some dominant numbers on both sides of the ball although no SEC championship banner will be raised. The 9-3 Bulldogs outscored opponents 42-21 so this team could win in any number of ways. UGA gave up just 334 yards with the second ranked passing D allowing 158 yards while the offense totaled 455 yards with the nation's #13 rushing attack producing 255 yards per contest. Hutson Mason was highly productive under center with over 2,000 yards on 68% with 20 touchdowns and four interceptions. Chris Conley and Michael Bennett were the top receivers with 577 yards and 381 yards respectively while three others combined for around 700 yards. The ground was where the Bulldogs excelled with Nick Chubb leading the way with 1,281 yards followed by Todd Gurley who totaled 911 yards.

The Louisville Cardinals first season in the ACC had to be considered a huge success as they head to the postseason sporting an impressive 9-3 record that was generally led by a dominating defense that gave up 294 yards and less then 21 points with a mere 95 yards allowed on the ground. The Cardinals offense wasn't explosive with around 396 yards but it was efficient with the #52 passing attack totaling 247 yards in leading the way to a solid 32+ points. The air attack is missing Will Gardner and his 1,669 yards passing yards thanks to injury so Reggie Bonnafan brings in little more 50% completion and 850 yards to the quarterback position. DeVante Parker paced the receiving corps with 735 yards with James Quick and Eli Rogers posting 509 yards and 444 yards. The Cardinals rushing game was generally a two man show with Brandon Radcliff and Michael Dyer totaling 648 yards and 481 yards.
The Bulldogs are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games after allowing less than 170 yards passing in their previous game with the over going 5-1 in Bulldogs last 6 games following a ATS loss while the Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss. For Louisville the under is 4-0 in Cardinals last 4 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game while the over is 3-0-1 in Cardinals last 4 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game and is 3-0-1 in Cardinals last 4 vs. a team with a winning record. My thinking here is the Bulldogs are the better team although in the back of my mind I can't help thinking they screw up...
