The 11-1 Baylor Bears were left out in the cold when the NCAA playoff positions were decided with their lone loss to West Virginia being too much to overlook apparently. The Bears were an unmovable force offensively with the best unit in the land that produced 581 yards and 49 points with the #5 air game producing 346 yards. Bryce Petty led the potent air assault with 3,305 yards with 26 touchdowns and six picks with the trio of Corey Coleman, KD Cannon and Antwan Goodley combing for over 2,400 receiving yards. Shock Linwood did most of the heavy lifting on the ground with 1,226 yards with Johnny Jefferson totaling another 526 yards. The offense had weapons galore but the defense did their share with 368 yards and 24 points given up behind a top ten run D that allowed less then 108 yards.
The Spartans are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games while the over is 5-0 in Spartans last 5 non-conference games and 4-0 in Spartans last 4 games in January. For Baylor the Bears are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game while the over is 6-1-1 in Bears last 8 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game. I can see either team winning here but for me this is a game I'd rather watch then bet...
