College Football Preview: The 2015 Arizona State Sun Devils
Arizona State Sun Devils Preview 2014 Record 10-3 Won Hyundai Sun Bowl 36-31 vs Duke
Overview: Arizona State had another great year under head coach Todd Graham finishing with a record of 10-3 and a victory in their bowl game against Duke. The Sun Devils lose their starting quarterback Taylor Kelly, but their replacing him with Mike Bercovici who has proven he can play. Arizona State looks set for another great year.
Offense: New quarterback Mike Bercovici got a lot of playing time last year and showed a lot of promise. He passed for 1445 yards with 12 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Former running back D.J Foster who rushed for over 1000 yards last year and caught 62 passes for 688 yards has converted to a full time receiver. He will be the main receiver in this offense. Demario Richard will take over and likely and be the lead running back for the Sun Devils. He ran for almost 500 yards last year and 4 touchdowns as a back up.

Defense: Arizona State has lost some key players including defensive back Damarious Randall. Fortunately for Arizona State returns three defensive backs to fill in for him. Including Jordan Simone who recorded 100 tackles last year. Linebackers Salamo Fiso and Laiu Moeakiola both return. They combined for a total of 155 tackles and 8.5 sacks. Arizona State’s defense looks like they will be solid this season.
Overall: Arizona State looks set for another great season. If Mike Bercovici can play good throughout the season they will have no problem putting up points. I think their defense will be good enough to get this team another double-digit win season and a good bowl game.
