The Nebraska Cornhuskers are coming off a 33-28 loss to BYU on the last play. Tommy Armstrong Jr. is completing 58.5 percent of his passes for 319 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Armstrong has 10 touchdown passes in his last three games. Jordan Westerkamp and Brandon Reilly have combined for more than 170 yards and a touchdown while Alonzo Moore has a touchdown on three receptions. The Nebraska Cornhuskers ground game is averaging 126 yards per contest, and Terrell Newby leads the way with 43 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Nebraska is allowing 33 points and 511 yards per game. Joshua Kalu leads the Cornhuskers with nine tackles, Nate Gerry has an interception and Josh Banderas had two tackles for loss. Punter Sam Foltz is questionable with a leg injury.

The Jaguars are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games. The Cornhuskers are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 home games and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games.

I have to imagine that Nebraska is absolutely livid with the way week 1 turned out. The Cornhuskers should want to beat the brakes off of South Alabama, right? The Jaguars didn't exactly play well against Gardner-Webb and is in for a major step up in comp. I expect a blowout in this game that removes any hope of Nebraska losing again on a Hail Mary.
