The Line: Rutgers -1.5 -- Over/Under: 62 See the Latest Odds

The Washington State Cougars and Rutgers Scarlet Knights play Saturday at High Point Solutions Stadium.

The Washington State Cougars need to bounce back after losing 24-17 to Portland State. Luke Falk is completing 65.9 percent of his passes for 289 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Falk is questionable for this game with a shoulder injury. Dom Williams and Gabe Marks have combined for more than 160 receiving yards and a touchdown while junior John Thompson has three receptions. The Washington State Cougars ground game is averaging 104 yards per contest, and Gerard Wicks leads the way with 63 yards on 14 carries. Defensively, Washington State is allowing 24 points and 294 yards per game. Jeremiah Allison leads the Cougars with 12 tackles, Destiny Vaeao has a sack and Taylor Taliulu has a pass deflection.

Rutgers vs. Washington State - 9/12/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights look to build on their 63-13 win over Norfolk State. Chris Laviano is completing 100 percent of his passes for three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Laviano has three touchdown passes on four pass attempts. Leonte Carroo and Andre Patton have combined for more than 170 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Matt Flanagan has a touchdown on two receptions. The Rutgers Scarlet Knights ground game is averaging 291 yards per contest, and Josh Hicks leads the way with 118 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Rutgers is allowing 13 points and 196 yards per game. Saquan Hampton leads the Scarlet Knights with four tackles, Anthony Cioffi has an interception and Julian Pinnix-Odrick has two pass deflections. Defensive players Kemoko Turay and Darius Hamilton are questionable.

The Cougars are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games in September and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Scarlet Knights are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 non-conference games and 3-7 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

Rutgers has handled itself well since entering the Big Ten and has been a physical and well coached team on both sides of the ball. Washington State hasn't improved under Mike Leake and is coming off a loss in which it was favored by 40 points. I'll gladly take the home team and the small chalk.

This play seems too easy.
