The Toledo Rockets visit War Memorial Stadium to take the field with the Arkansas Razorbacks.
The Toledo Rockets have their sights set on winning the MAC championship but will begin the season shorthanded with running back Kareem Hunt suspended which leaves the team searching for over eight yards every time he touched the ball. I can see Phillip Ely and Logan Woodside both seeing the field at quarterback to give Toledo options should either falter of get banged up and are not 100%. Throw in Michael Julian in to the Rockets quarterback situation and we have potential for explosiveness with Corey Jones and Alonzo Russell bringing plenty of potential to the receiving corps. The line is in need of an overhaul so it might take a few games for us to see the real Toledo offense.

The Arkansas Razorbacks began the season with a bang as in a 48-13 rout of Texas-El Paso that was never in doubt. The Miners were outgained 490-204 and made matters worse with a pair of lost fumbles and an interception. Alex Collins paced the Hogs on the ground with 127 yards on 12 carries with a seven yard scoring run but the air is where this game was won. Brandon Allen gave the Razorbacks a near perfect performance in the air with 308 yar0ds on 14-18 with a monster four touchdowns and no interceptions. Keith Hatcher led Arkansas with six receptions for 106 yards and a pair of scores while Jared Cornelius hauled in a 58 yard scoring strike.
The over is 6-0 in Rockets last 6 non-conference games and the Rockets are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall while Toledo are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games on fieldturf. The Razorbacks are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games in September and the under is 4-0 in Razorbacks last 4 games following a ATS win while Arkansas are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games. I am going with the Razorbacks especially with Toledo missing Hunt as I don’t think they can match scores…
