The Line: Miami (Ohio) RedHawks +19 -- Over/Under: 60 See the Latest Odds

Fred Yager Stadium and the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks host instate rival the Cincinnati Bearcats for the Victory Bell.

The Cincinnati Bearcats discovered that you can dominate the boxscore and still lose if you don’t hold on to the football. The Temple Owls lost the yardage battle 557-296 but won the turnover war 5-1. Gunner Kiel gave Cincy 427 passing yards with a pair of touchdowns but four interceptions negated most of the positives. Mekale McKay paced the Bearcats receivers with 105 yards on a pair of catches including an 88 yard touchdown. The Cincinnati rushing attack didn’t do a whole lot with a little over four yards per tote with Tion Green leading the way with 59 yards on 13 tries with a trip to the end zone while Hosey Williams added 45 yards on nine carries.

Cincinnati Bearcats vs. Miami (Ohio) Redhawks - 9/19/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Miami (Ohio) Redhawks were too much for Presbyterian in their season opener but the shoe was on the other foot in a 58-0 defeat at Wisconsin. The Badgers led in yardage 451-157 but the Redhawks committed seven penalties and turned the ball over four times. Miami (Ohio) desperately needed some success running the ball to keep the Wisconsin offense on the sideline but that didn’t happen with Leonard Ross and his eight carry, 16 yard effort leading the team. The Redhawks quarterback duo of Billy Bahl and Drew Kummer combined for 160 yards on 13-34 with three picks with Rokeem Williams logging three receptions for 54 yards.

The Bearcats are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall and are Bearcats are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in September while going  0-5 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games.  The under is 4-0 in Redhawks last 4 home games while the Redhawks are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game and  are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. loss. The under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings and the home team is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 meetings while the favorite is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings. If Miami (Ohio) can slow this game down a cover could be within reach but for now I’ll back the Bearcats…
