The North Carolina Tar Heels opened the season with a tough loss to South Carolina but they took out their frustration on North Carolina A&T 53-14 to even their record at 1-1. The North Carolina rushing attack was okay with Elijah Hood totaling 56 yards on 16 touches with two scores while Williams added another 53 yards and a TD on just four totes.
