The Ohio State Buckeyes hope to hold onto their No. 1 spot and improve to 3-0 on the year. Cardale Jones is completing 59.5 percent of his passes for 298 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Jones has passed for a touchdown in four of his last five games. Michael Thomas and Braxton Miller have combined for 190 receiving yards and two touchdowns while sophomore Curtis Samuel has nine receptions. The Ohio State Buckeyes ground game is averaging 270.5 yards per contest, and Ezekiel Elliott leads the way with 223 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Ohio State is allowing 12 points and 242.5 yards per game. Joshua Perry leads the Buckeyes with 15 tackles, Darron Lee has 3.5 tackles for loss and Vonn Bell has four pass deflections.

The Huskies are 17-5-1 ATS in their last 23 road games and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. Big Ten. The Buckeyes are 34-16-2 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Northern Illinois can put up points quickly and has a solid under-the-radar quarterback in Hare. However, the Huskies aren't the same when they play big programs. We saw Northern Illinois get beat up in the bowl game against Marshall and lose by 38 points to Arkansas. Ohio State is far better than both of those teams.

The Buckeyes roll once again.
