The Oregon State Beavers and the Stanford Cardinal face off on Friday at Reser Stadium in Pac-12 college football action.

The Oregon State Beavers bounced back from their week two loss at Michigan to beat SJSU in week 3 and raise their record to 2-1 for the season. The OSU offense is averaging 22.7 points and 322.3 points per game as they continue to install head Coach Gary Anderson’s system. Oregon State QB Seth Collins has completed 54.2 percent of his passes for 306 yards with four touchdowns and an interception and he has rushed for 294 yards and two touchdowns. Storm Woods is the Beavers leading running back rushing for 227 yards and a touchdown and Jordan Villamin and has 10 catches with two touchdowns and Victor Bolden has eight grabs. Defensively Oregon State is allowing 21 points and 278.7 yards per game with five sacks, a fumble recovery and four interceptions. Rommel Mageo is OSU”s leading defender with 30 tackles, two forced fumbles, and an interception, Justin Strong has 19 tackles, and Caleb Saulo has 18 tackles. Oregon State should be improving as the season goes on as Anderson’s system takes form.

Oregon State vs. Stanford - 9/25/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Stanford Cardinal are coming off of a monster win as they beat USC in Los Angeles and they look for their second Pac-12 win in as many conference games. The Stanford offense is averaging 26 points and 401.7 yards as they look to control the time of possession. Stanford QB Kevin Hogan is a veteran and he has completed 63.2 percent of his passes with five touchdowns and an interception. The Stanford rushing attack is anchored by Christian McCaffrey who is averaging 4.1 yards per carry and he has 12 catches while Austin Hooper has 10 receptions and Devon Cajuste has eight grabs. The Cardinal defense is allowing 18 points and 312.7 yards per game with three sacks, one fumble, and one interception. Stanford’s leading tackler is Blake Martinez with 38 tackles and an interception, Kevin Anderson with 20 tackles, and Peter Kalambayi has 18 tackles. Stanford will need to avoid the letdown after last week’s big win.

Oregon State is 2-5 against the spread in their last seven home games, 1-5 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 0-4 against the spread following a win. Stanford is 5-1 against the spread in their last six games, 23-11-1 against the spread in their last 35 road games, and 3-7 against the spread following a game that they covered the spread. The home team has covered the point spread in six of the last eight meetings of these two.

I just don't see much offense here so my free pick is under the total that is at an agressively low 44.5. My stronger pick is on the winning team against the spread and I will post that in the Premum Area as well as on the app.
