The Line: Buffalo Bulls -2 -- Over/Under: 57 See the Latest Odds

The Nevada Wolf Pack will travel to UB Stadium to take on the Buffalo Bulls in College Football action this Saturday afternoon.

The Nevada Wolf Pack dropped to 1-2 (0-0 MW) on the season after being defeated by the 17th ranked Texas A&M Aggies 44-27 this past Saturday. The Wolf Pack was outgained by the Aggies by a 535-359 margin but was able to hang around with the Aggies for most of the game including cutting it just a 14 point margin in the 4th quarter. Leading the way for Nevada was QB Tyler Steward who completed 16 of 29 passes for 206 yards, a TD, and an INT. RB James Butler had a nice game for the Wolf Pack as he was able to gain 107 yards on 17 carries. On the season, Nevada has allowed opponents to average 35.0 ppg against them while scoring an average of 26 ppg. The Wolfpack have been solid on the ground this season and are led by RB Don Johnson who currently is averaging 5.1 yds/game. The Wolf Pack have had some tough competition to start off the season as they’ve played the 22nd ranked Arizona Wildcats along with the 17th ranked Aggies and although they lost both of these games by an average of about 20 points, they were competitive in both games. Nevada has a strong defensive line led by DE Ian Seau and DT Rykeem Yates.

Buffalo vs. Nevada - 9/26/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Buffalo Bulls used a strong second half to defeat the Florida Atlantic Owls 33-15 and improve to 2-1 (0-0 MAC) on the season. The Bulls outscored the owls by a 26-6 margin in the second half even though they were outgained by a 487-290 margin. Buffalo was able to win the game as they were able to force the Owls to commit 5 turnovers (3 fumbles, 2 INT) in the victory. Leading the way for Buffalo was RB Anthone Taylor who had 116 yards on 25 carries and RB Jordan Johnson who 66 yards and a TD on 14 carries. On the season, Buffalo is average 32.7 ppg while allowing just 18.7 ppg. Buffalo is led by senior QB Joe Licata who currently is averaging 185.3 yds/game on the season with 4 TD’s and All-MAC RB Anthone Taylor who is averaging 104.3 yards/game. The big questions coming into the season was with the Buffalo defense however, they’ve been decent early on the season and even held Penn State to just 27 points in their 27-14 loss on 9/12. LB Okezie Alozie currently leads the Bulls in tackles this season collecting 21 total tackles including 2 sacks.

The Wolf Pack are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games. The Bulls are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. win and 13-3 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

Buffalo has played well this season and if their defense can hold up, they have a decent chance to reach 6 wins this season and be eligible for a bowl game. Although Nevada will be on the road for the 2nd straight week, they’ll be happy to be playing against a team more there level and not facing another top-25 team with a high powered offense. Buffalo has played well to start the season but I feel that Nevada is the better team in this one and will be able to expose the Bulls defense. Take the Wolf Pack and the points in this one.
