The Nicholls Colonels ground game is averaging 145 yards per contest, and Michael Henry leads the way with 117 yards on 27 carries. Defensively, Nicholls is allowing 33.5 points and 443.5 yards per game. Hezekiah White leads the Colonels with 18 tackles, Geoffrey Hebert has a sack and Ahmani Martin has three pass deflections.

The Colorado Buffaloes look to have a three-game winning streak heading into Pac-12 play. Sefo Liufau is completing 58.2 percent of his passes for 544 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Liufau has a touchdown pass in every game of his career expect this year’s season opener. Nelson Spruce and Shay Fields have combined for 351 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Devin Ross has six receptions. The Colorado Buffaloes ground game is averaging 243.3 yards per contest, and Michael Adkins II leads the way with 212 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Colorado is allowing 22 points and 399.7 yards per game. Ryan Moeller leads the Buffaloes with 21 tackles, Jase Franke has a sack and Kenneth Olugbode has an interception. Addison Gillam and Michael Adkins II are questionable.
Colorado has improved since its opening week loss to Hawaii, but it still doesn't look like a team that's going to blow many teams out. There's simply not enough talent for that just yet. However, the Nicholls Colonels have not won a game since Octover of 2013, losing 20 straight games since. Also, the Colonels have scored just 10 points in their first two contests.
