Geogia Tech will look to get back on track as they travel to take on ACC opponent the Duke Blue Devils.
Duke suffered their first lost of the season against the 23rd ranked Northwestern Wildcats 19-10. Quarterback Thomas Sirk struggled in this game going 24/39 for only 150 yards and 1 interception. Sirk also added 61 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown. Running back Shaquille Powell led the team with 9 carries fir 71 yards. Wide Receiver Shaun Wilson and Shaquille Powell combined for 13 receptions for 78 yards. DeVon Edwards and Alonzo Saxton each recorded an interception during the game. It was a tough loss for Duke. Duke could just not get anything going on offense. Duke will need to forget about it quickly and focus on the rush heavy Georgia Tech team they will be playing this week.

Georgia Tech is also coming off their first loss of the season 30-22 against Notre Dame. Quarterback Justin didn’t play his best only going 8/24 for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns. Running backs Broderick Snoddy and Patrick Skov combined for 25 carries for 143 yards a touchdown. Paterick Skov also led the Yellow Jackets in receiving catching 2 passes for 39 yards and 2 touchdowns. D.J White recorded the only interception for Georgia Tech. This was a disappointing loss for Georgia Tech but they will be ready to place this weekend as they travel to take on ACC opponent Duke.
Georgia Tech is 5-0 against the spread in their last 5 conference games. The Yellow Jackets are 9-1 against the spread in their last 10 games overall. The Duke Blue Devils are 0-4 against the spread after allowing less than 170 yards passing in their previous game. Duke is 6-1 against the spread vs. a team with a winning record.
Both Teams will be fired up being that this is their first ACC game. I think Georgia tech is the better team here and should be able to get the win. Duke struggled on offense last week and they wont be able to do that this week agaisnt a Georgia Tech team that can put up points. Il take Georgia Tech to cover on the road.
