The Georgia Bulldogs look to remain unbeaten heading into SEC play. Greyson Lambert is completing 74.1 percent of his passes for 587 yards, five touchdowns and zero interceptions. Greyson is sixth in college football in completion percentage. Malcolm Mitchell and Sony Michel have combined for 351 receiving yards and five touchdowns while Terry Godwin has six receptions. The Georgia Bulldogs ground game is averaging 256.6 yards per contest, and Nick Chubb leads the way with 468 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Georgia is allowing 16 points and 303 yards per game. Jordan Jenkins leads the Bulldogs with 22 tackles, Leonard Floyd has two sacks and Dominick Sanders has two interceptions.
This is a ton of points to lay regardless of how well Georgia is playing and the overwhelming mismatch in talent. The Bulldogs will get a big lead and then put in their backups as they prepare for SEC play. Besides, Southern is a decent winning program that can do some things offensively. The Jags have scored 50 or more points in three of their last five games.
I'll take the points here.
