The San Diego State Aztecs and Penn State Nittany Lions play Saturday at Beaver Stadium.

USA TODAY Sports

The Penn State Nittany Lions look to build on their two-game winning streak. Christian Hackenberg is completing 49.3 percent of his passes for 372 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Hackenberg has failed to throw a touchdown in five of his last eight games. Chris Godwin and DaeSean Hamilton have combined for more than 310 receiving yards and one touchdown while Geno Lewis has three receptions. The Penn State Nittany Lions ground game is averaging 203.3 yards per contest, and Saquon Barkley leads the way with 311 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, PSU is allowing 14.7 points and 295 yards per game. Austin Johnson leads the Nittany Lions with 21 tackles, Carl Nassib has five sacks and Grant Haley has an interception. Andrew Nelson and Ben Kline are questionable.

The Aztecs are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Nittany Lions are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS win.

SDSU has scored just 34 points in its last two games, and that's against defenses that aren't as good as Penn State. Also, the Aztecs don't get much pressure on the QB, which is a good thing for the Nittany Lions poor offensive line.

I like Penn State to win and cover this spread without much issue.
