The South Florida Bulls could use a big home victory after back-to-back losses. Quinton Flowers is completing 57.6 percent of his passes for 326 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions. Flowers has thrown a pick in all three games this year. D'Ernest Johnson and Elkanah Dillon have combined for 309 receiving yards and five touchdowns while Ryeshene Bronson has three receptions. Legree is questionable.
The Tigers are 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 road games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 Friday games. The Bulls are 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games in October. The road team is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.
South Florida may not win many games, but there's talent on the Bulls roster. After all, we saw USF put a little scare in Florida State and hang with Maryland already this season. Also, the Bulls had an extra week to prepare for this game while Memphis is coming off an emotional game against Cincy where it played zero defense.
USF could win this game outright if the crowd comes out. Either way, I'm taking a shot with the points.
