The Georgia Bulldogs look to stay perfect when the Alabama Crimson Tide visit Sanford Stadium.
After an uncharacteristic lack of defense in a 43-37 loss to Mississippi, the Alabama Crimson Tide went back to the basics in a 34-0 rout of Louisiana-Monroe in week four. The Warhawks had zero chance on 92 yards and a pair of interceptions and just ten first downs. The Crimson Tide didn’t march up and down the field on 303 yards but their defense won the battle of field position. Jake Coker gave Bama 158 passing yards and three touchdowns with ArDarius Stewart and Calvin Ridley combining for seven receptions and 77 yards with a touchdown each. The Tide rushing attack featured Kenyan Drake and Derrick Henry running for 117 yards on 23 carries.

The Georgia Bulldogs have had no problem racking up plenty of points and shutting down opponents on their way to a 4-0 record. The Bulldogs knocked off FCS Southern 48-6 as a 49 point favorite in a game they obviously didn’t run up the score. UGA held a 532-184 yardage edge and ran or threw as they chose with a near perfect passing attack that featured a combined 20-24 performance from Greyson Lambert and Brice Ramsey with 271 yards with Lambert tossing a pair of TD’s. Malcolm Mitchell paced the Bulldogs receiving corps with five receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown with eleven players catching passes. Nick Chubb paced Georgia on the ground with 131 yards and a pair of trips to the end zone on 15 touches while Sony Mitchell rambled for 75 yards on six totes and two TD’s.
The Crimson Tide are 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 170 yards passing in their previous game and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game while going 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games on grass. The Bulldogs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS loss and the under is 4-0 in Bulldogs last 4 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game while Georgia are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game. The over is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings while the underdog is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings and the Crimson Tide are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings. I just think Alabama has the defense to contain Georgia so I’ll take the field goal…
