The Eastern Kentucky Colonels look for a win to get a game above a .500 record. Bennie Coney is completing 59.4 percent of his passes for 676 yards, five touchdowns and zero interceptions. Coney Kyle Romano have produced six passing touchdowns. Joel Brown and Devin Borders have combined for 269 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Jeff Glover has nine receptions. The Eastern Kentucky Colonels ground game is averaging 119.2 yards per contest, and Ethan Thomas leads the way with 149 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, EKU is allowing 23 points and 324.2 yards per game. Tyrell Curry leads the Colonels with 22 tackles, Noah Spence has 4.5 sacks and Stanley Absanon has two interceptions.
Tennessee Tech struggles on the defensive side of the ball and has lost 10 of its last 13 road games. Meanwhile, Eastern Kentucky is a decent football team that just made the Kentucky Wildcats sweat last week.
With a blackout scheduled at home, I expect the Colonels to roll here and win comfortably.
