NC State suffered their first lost of the season at home last week against Louisville 20-13. It was the Wolfpack’s first game against a real opponent. NC State’s quarterback Jacoby Brissett went 16/28 through the air for 183 yards and 1 touchdown. Running back Matthew Dayes ran the ball 19 times for 68 yards and a touchdown. Wide Receiver Jaylen Samuels led the Wolfpack in receiving with 5 catches for 75 yards and 1 touchdown. NC State will look to bounce back and get their first ACC win of the season.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack are 6-0 against the spread in their last 6 road games. NC State is 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games following a loss. Virginia Tech is 1-4 against the spread in their last 5 games in October. Virginia Tech is 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 home games.
We finally got to see what NC State was about last weekend and they showed they are a good team. Virginia Tech however struggled to put up 100 total yards of offense. I think NC State has the better offense here and has been playing better football lately. Take NC State straight up as underdogs.
